New Year Refresh

World has been renewed with brand new opportunities and dangers!

I've left off the Faithless texture pack we had been using for now. Might add in something new? A few other cosmetic/audio packs added. Was considering a few other fancy things but didn't have time to test them.

Updatus Arrivus

June 15th, 2024

The day has arrived! We've jumped on the update bandwagon and the realm is now at 1.21.

Chels has been cool enough to design and build up a trading post right near the spawn point. It is not fully stocked as she felt decking people in insane armor and tools right away wouldn't be as fun for folks, but there is a good supply of food and beds for a safer early start.

Be sure to read the notes/signs so you know what's up. Then feel free to drop off any donations you may not need later in the drop off bin. It may help someone else later on!

You will also notice that there is a pathway that leads away from the trading post. Who knows what you may find if you follow it? Ooooh. Spooky!

(Also we removed the Farming Addon because it's a lot of stuff that doesn't really do much of substance. Might put it back, might not.)

It's (not SSX) Tricky

June 3rd, 2024

It looks like Mojang has locked in a release date for the new update, June 13th.

We won't be updating right away after the 13th but will consult with all active members to make sure they're cool with where they are at and ready to restart the Realm with a brand new world in 1.21.

I'm not sure if each member can individually download a copy of the ream to use on their own but we can certainly provide a copy if needed. (It will probably have to be exported for Bedrock on PC and then loaded somehow locally in order to be used on console/mobile again.)

New Site and When We Update

As you may have noticed the Realm has a new home for keeping track of stuff. This is it. You're here already. Thanks to the power of NeoCities!

More importantly it's been a while since we've swapped out the old world on the realm for this latest one. You may remember the brief discussion of whether or not to add in the experimental stuff at the time we last rebooted things. (We ultimately decided not to include the experimental stuff at the time. Leaving us without a few cool things.) But thankfully it looks like the offical update is drawing near; if history denotes anything, we should be good to either update this current world OR do another world reboot, alongside the Minecraft update that will include: new Tuff blocks, new dawgs, the armadillo, villager trade fixin' and the trail chambers and copper stuffs. There might be a couple other things I'm forgetting but those are the major things, I believe.

I'll be trying to update things as needed but let me know if you notice anything that needs changing OR you have anything in world you'd like to add here.
